Modusi Vocational College held an open day for the individuals who are interested in vocational education. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia attended the event and addressed the public.
Tamar Kitiashvili: “Rustavi and the entire region is really lucky to have such an outstanding college. No college in Georgia has such a modern Fablab as Modusi. In addition to innovative approaches, the college has another outstanding feature: Modusi is among the top ten vocational schools that offer integrated programs to applicants. This means that graduates, in addition to mastering the profession, will receive a diploma that is equivalent to a high school diploma.
Attendees were informed about the current vocational programs, as well as the registration process, vocational testing, and further employment opportunities. The applicants inspected the infrastructure and training equipment of the educational institution.
The newly renovated vocational college "Modusi" meets the new academic year with novelties. The college has authorized two additional integrated vocational programs: Horticulture and Computer Networking and Systems. It should be noted that upon completion of the integrated program, the college graduate will receive a diploma equal to the full general education certificate.
Modus has announced admission to 10 educational programs this year: educator; car undercarriage repairs, Car engine repair; Electricity; Operation of plumbing systems; Installation of plasterboard constructions; Gardening; Welding; Accounting; Information technology.
Registration for vocational programs will last until August 10, 2020 and is carried out throughout Georgia on the following electronic platform: vet.emis.ge.
