Textbooks fairs and book shops will be organized in all big cities throughout Georgia from August 30. In this regard, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and representatives of private distribution companies signed the memorandum.

According to the Memorandum, from August 30 the distributor companies should organize school textbooks fairs and book shops in Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Foti, Telavi and Gori. The price of those textbooks that are approved by the Ministry should be less than 10 GEL.

Information posters on textbooks fairs and book shops will be distributed to all schools of Georgia.  Addresses of fairs and book shops will also be posted on the web-site of the Ministry, www.mes.gov.ge and on the official web-page of the Ministry on facebook, www.facebook.com/mes.gov.ge

At distributors’ fairs and book shops the textbooks will be sold with fixed process. Therefore, Ministry recommends parents to buy the textbooks at above mentioned places.
