The sub-programme aims at increasing parent/guardian awareness and their involvement in the pupils’ lives.
Within the framework of the sub-programme, a link – an electronic guidebook for parents to view information about the pupils’ characteristics of age-related development, critical periods and strategies for dealing with them, inclusive lifestyle fitness, etc. – will be placed on the webpage of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Georgia.
The guidebook is also being translated into the languages of ethnic minorities living in Georgia.
In order to prevent early marriage, the sub-programme involves a group of three people – a psychologist, a police officer and a social worker – to be holding events, public meetings and lectures with parents from regions where early marriage occurs most frequently.
