
“The Torino Process” (TRP) organized by the European
Training Foundation (ETF) and supported by the Minidstry of Education and
Science of Georgia is being implemented. “The Torino Process” (TRP) based on the
analysis of the policies and practicies of vocational education monitors and
evaluates the system itself and improves the policy results.
Organized by the European Training Foundation
(ETF), the representatives of the Vocational Education Development Department
of the Ministry of Education and Science in partnership with the local
coordinators of “The Torino Process 2016” held a business conference for all the
representatives of the countries involved in project. The meeting was held in
an online mode, within the format of electronic platrofm, which entails the
sharing of experience and information remotely. Additionally, during the
meeting, basic principles of TRP 2016 was discussed in conjunction with
discussing the implementation of the current work plan and the general
analytical framework of the project.
Furthermore, for the representatives of the Torino Project participant countries, Mr. Nicholas Meskhishvili introduced the current
electronic system policy matrix. It should be noted that, the action plan for
the evidence gathering electronic system was developed with the support of the
European Union Technical Asisstance Group.
It is important to note, that Georgia with the
support of European Training Foundation (ETF) has the opportunity to be part of
these processes, share vocational education reform progress and the overall
experience to the local and international community, become familiar with the
experience of the other countries, and improve the results in the vocational
education through developing various partnerships.
