The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened a new school in the village of Tazrisi, Borjomi Rayon. As the President stated, the school rehabilitation and upgrading the school infrastructure is one of the priorities of the education reform. National Examinations Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is organizing the pre-test of the High School Exams. From April 12 till April 15 about fourteen thousand 12th graders at 326 public schools of Georgia will take the pre-test in 8 subjects.

In the scope of the campaign “Plant a Tree, Make Tbilisi Green”, Resource Officers planted trees in 4 Public Schools of Tbilisi together with the schoolchildren. Cypress and cedars were planted in the public schools №151, №147, №186 and №187. At the same time the schoolchildren and Resources Officers planted some trees in Kutaisi as well.
