Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Ekaterine Dgebuadze together with the Head of Council of Europe Office in Georgia - Cristian Urse met with the winners of the “European Heritage Creators Week” and presented them with the certificates of Appreciation.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is actively involved in the Council of Europe's "European Heritage Days" program. One of the initiatives of the program is holding "European Heritage Creators Week", to which Georgia gladly joined in May of this year.
Within the scope of the aforementioned initiative, children and young people were given the opportunity to create stories about cultural heritage and strong significance. The finished papers were to be submitted on the European Heritage Days portal.
Furthermore, having selected five best works nationally, three of them appeared amongst the top 10 submitted assignments in Europe. These are as follows:
The winners will travel to Strasbourg on December 1-3, where they will be able to meet their peers from other European countries.
