On the anniversary of the death of Niko Pirosmani, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia organized the competition of animations - "revived pictures" for students of general educational institutions of Georgia. On January 10-15 of the current year, 82 teams from 18 countries participated in Zhautikov Olympiad held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Amongst the participating teams were Tbilisi Komarov and Vekua schools, as well as Razmadze Physics and Mathematical school in Kutaisi.
