Meeting on Inclusive Education Issues

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli met the initiative group, including the special teachers, the head of the Special Teachers Association and the parent. The meeting focused on challenges facing the inclusive education and in particular the issue of development of the profession of a special teacher.

In this difficult moment, first of all, I give consolation to parents and relatives of deceased pupils. Doctors do not spare their efforts and I hope that they will be able to save the life of heavily wounded pupil.

Ministry will fund more than 1000 Students living in Villages adjacent to the Demarcation Line

The issue of funding of the affected students living in the villages adjacent to the demarcation line of the occupied territories was discussed at the Government meeting. It was decided that the Ministry of Education and Science will fund teaching of the students in 2017-2018 years.

Labor Skills Development Program in Schools

Labor Skills Development Program is successfully carried out among the pupils in 138 public schools of Georgia.
