With the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and various sports organizations, public school teachers, pupils and their parents continue their excursions and hiking tours across Georgia.
Regarding the facilitated acquisition of the public school textbooks, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia clarifies, that due to a high participation effort from the society, the approval process is held transparently in a public mode. As a result, starting from the new academic year, the students of I-VI grade will start their learning process with improved textbooks.
Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Education Management Information System (EMIS) and the Emergency Assistance Operations Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – 112.
The regional hub of the European Academy will be opened at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The quadrilateral meeting was held amongst the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia -Mikheil Chkhenkeli, with the President of the European Academy of Sciences - Zyrd Klotnik, the Vice President of the European Studies Council -Eva Kondorosi and a Professor of Oxford University - Alex Vehratsky.
Tbilisi Open University partner - University of Lanzhou, will establish a Georgian Learning Center. The meeting was held between the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli and the Vice-President of the University of Lanzhou -Bao Baotin.

Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia, in collaboration with Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, announced a National Award for the Vocational Education 2018.
Within the scope of the "Europe Day 2018", the National Center for Teacher Professional Development opened a seminar - "Teacher-a guide to Europe". About 100 teachers from the regions of Georgia and its capital are involved in the seminar, including teachers from ethnic minorities and villages located along the occupation line. Participants of the seminar will receive information regarding the Georgia and EU relations within two days, in conjunction with the European integration process and European core values.
The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli presented the education system Action Plan to the representatives of the education sector, invited guests and the media.
With the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Information Technology Center - Mziuri together with Georgian Technical University and National Youth Palace will conduct mathematical competition - "Imedi Khvalis - 2018".
Georgia will become a member of the European Association for Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) and Georgian scientists and researchers will join their European colleagues in scientific research and relevant experiments. An agreement on this matter was achieved, during the meeting with the President of the European Association for Science and Technology Cooperation (COST) - Sierd Cloetingh.
