The international educational exhibition was opened, where Georgian universities, together with up to 100 educational institutions throughout the world, offer various educational programs, study funding opportunities, scholarships and grants to the students, entrants and graduate students.

The Office of Resource Officers of the Educational Institution fully shares the initiative of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia to introduce the healthy lifestyle in schools. For this purpose, the Office of Resource Officers is planning to organize the sports events together with the public schools. The resource officers carried out the first sports event together with the sports teachers of Tbilisi Public School №55 and conducted internal school competition in basketball. Students of IX, X and XI classes took part in the competition.

The Rectors Council was convened at Gori State University. The meeting was traditionally led by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava and participated by the heads of state and private higher education institutions being the members of the Rectors’ Council.

The meeting of the Tripartite Commission discussed realization of the right to increase vocational qualifications and the possibility of acquiring the desired profession at all ages, which is the central task of the Government to solve the problem of economic development and employment.

Pupils of the village Zerti Public School in Gori region continue their study at the school with modern standards. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava, Executive Director of Millennium Challenge Account Magda Maghradze and Head of the Representative Office of Millennium Challenge Corporation in Georgia Gener Adelman visited the school, rehabilitation of which was carried out within the framework of the second Compact of Millennium Challenge Corporation.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava introduced the main accents of the news of the system to journalists and answered their questions on topical issues.

The agreement of cooperation was signed by and between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Ministry of Human Resources of Hungary in the field of education and science.

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava visited the “Kvevri school-workshop” of Ikalto and Ikalto Academy by invitation of Metropolite of Alaverdi Davit. “Kvevri school-workshop” founded by the initiative of the Metropolite aims to restore and retain traditional and ancient methods of production of pitcher (Kvevri), as well as development of historical-cultural and tourist-educational potential of village Ikalto.

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia visited Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University. Aleksandre Jejelava talked about the urgent issues of higher education and science at the meeting with professors and teachers and answered the questions.
