17 teachers from Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Samtskhe-Javakheti were awarded for outstanding achievements under the USAID Basic Education Program.

"Open the door to science" is carried out within the framework of the education and science project "Science Calendar - 2021" in order to popularize science in the country.

"Labour Safety Ambassador" - a new project is launched to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the workplace. Students of higher education institutions accredited in Georgia will be involved in the project. 

The Ministry of Education and Science, with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), is launching a professional qualification review based on international best practice analysis and system experience. 

Mako Tetrauli has been working as a special education teacher since the time when inclusive education was introduced at schools, from a time when there was a complete vacuum of inclusive education in the society and special teachers had the main role in filling this gap.
