The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Nunu Mitskevichi, together with Sopho Gorgodze, the Head of the National Centre for Assessment and Examinations, visited the examination centre opened at the 103^rd Public School before the exams.

Certificates were awarded to teachers of Keda and Akhmeta schools within the framework of the project "Teachers' e-Skills Development Initiative". At the closing ceremony, the organizers summarized the 10-month program and shared the results achieved and best practices with the meeting participants.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Centre for Vocational Program Management and Continuing Education was allocated to a new educational building, where all the conditions are created for the full implementation of vocational programs. 

"Taking care of self-development and constant search is a crucial factor for successful work" says Tamar Kitesashvili, a special teacher at Tbilisi Public School №136, who was awarded the status of Senior Special Teacher at the beginning of the year and became one of the most successful teachers. 

The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Nunu Mitskevichi opened the international scientific conference "Caucasus Gate - Northern Gate of Georgia", which was dedicated to the current problems of the past and modernity of Kazbegi Municipality (historic gorge, Truso).

A state-of-the-art training pool was opened at the Batumi State Maritime Academy, which will allow the students and current sailors of the academy to undergo mandatory practical training in accordance with the standards developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

In order to facilitate research and teaching in the field of security, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Training Center of the State Security Service, signed by Deputy Minister Nunu Mitskevichi and Head of the Center Giorgi Vashakidze.

Nunu Mitskevichi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Nino Tandilashvili, Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture, and representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) held a joint meeting to strengthen forestry education.

The European Education Foundation (ETF) and UNESCO organized an international online conference on "Developing Lifelong Learning Systems: Skills for a Green and Inclusive Society in the Digital Age".

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli addressed the participants of the international online conference "Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Occupied Territories: Georgia and International Experience".
