In order to organize internships for the students of professional
education and support their further employment, First Deputy Minister of
Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and Director of
hotel “Golden Fleece” Nino Gezmava signed the memorandum of cooperation
between the Ministry and “Golden Fleece”.

One group of Georgian
schoolchildren is back to Georgia from United Kingdom where they took oart in
two-week intensive English language summer schools. Overall 32 schoolchildren,
in 4 groups will go to Great Britain. They have been selected out of those 600
schoolchildren who had showed the best results in school Olympiads.

Up to 100 school resource officers
donated their blood at Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital. Within the
frame of the charity event, blood will be used for the children with
oncology diseases.

First Deputy Minister
of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze visited vocational college
in Kutaisi and got familiar with ongoing construction of workshops in the yard
of the college. College students and staff are actively involved in the
construction process.

taking up an intensive training course at Z.Zhvania School of Public
Administration in Kutaisi.

Native English Speaker Teachers continue to arrive within the frame of
the educational program “Teach and Learn with Georgia”. The latest group of the
volunteer teachers arrived in Georgia
from the US, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and New Zealand.

Textbooks fairs and book shops will
be organized in all big cities throughout Georgia from August 30. In this
regard, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka
Sepherteladze and representatives of private distribution companies signed the
memorandum.

“Supporting Gifted and Talented Youth Programme” initiated by the President of Georgia, Deputy Minister Irine Kurdadze awarded
successful schoolchildren of Samegrelo- Zemo Svaneti Region with golden and
silver medals.

Results of the Unified National Exams and GRE exams have been already announced and posted on the web site of the National Examinations Center under Ministry. Exams appeal procedure will begin on August 10th and will be finished by August 15th.

Technologies are held throughout whole Georgia. First Deputy Minister of
Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and Director of National
Center for Teacher Professional Development Gia Mamulashvili observed the
training process at Tbilisi Classical Gymnasium.

In commemoration of the national
heroes, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia hosted Ana Lagurashvili -
a daughter of Captain Leri Lagurashvili, who died during Russian-Georgian War
in 2008. First Deputy Minister Koka Sepherteladze awarded Ana the computer and the
books.

their completion of training courses of Rescuers.
