According to the new
national curriculum of 2011-2016, new selective subject “World Culture” will be
introduced in Xth, XIth and XII th grades
of secondary school in Georgia. Teachers’
conference was held on this issue, organized by the National Curriculum and
Assessment Center of the Ministry.

and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini, as entrusted by the Prime Minister
of Georgia Nika Gilauri, handed over cash prizes with an amount of 2000 GEL to
20 principals of those schools in Tbilisi and regions of Georgia that showed
the best results in school graduation exams.

“Einstein Program”, all public schools of Georgia will be furnished with
Natural Science Laboratories before beginning of the new academic year. First Deputy Minister Koka Sepherteladze delivered the Natural Science Laboratory to
Tbilisi public school №186 and together with the teachers of this school got
familiar with the equipments of this laboratory.
