Horizon Europe Grant Office will be opened at Gori State Teaching University, which will help improve the success rate of Georgian scientists in the grant competitions of the EU. It should be noted that this will be the ninth grant office in Georgia.

Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and Giorgi Pertaia, President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a working meeting on new opportunities for effective management and development of the Professional Skills Agency. 

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has completed the process of approving IX grade textbooks.

The opening ceremony of the renovated Japanese centre, equipped and renovated with the support of the Japanese government, was held at Ilia State University. Cambridge University Press has published the 2021 Sustainable Development Report. Georgia has improved its position by two places and ranked 56^th in the world ranking of 165 countries assessed in terms of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It should be noted that according to the 2020 report, our country was ranked 58^th, and in 2017 - 66^th.

The Ministry of Education and Science, in close cooperation with various agencies, continues to work actively to identify adolescents left out of school and to include them in the education system.

In order to raise awareness about science, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is launching the project "Science Calendar - 2021". The program includes several events and activities planned to promote science, including science-themed competitions, master classes, exhibitions, lectures, and a variety of cognitive and fun activities.

"Inclusive education is an integral part of my life" said Nino Tskhadiashvili, a special education teacher who knew at the age of 17 that it was a profession where she felt comfortable and loved it with all her heart.

To support the development of vocational education and professional skills in Georgia, the USAID five-year Employers for Vocational Education Program will be launched. 

The Public-Private Partnership Forum was held at Spektri Vocational College, with the participation of the business sector, government organizations, international partners and other stakeholders.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Georgia (UNHCR) has provided technical equipment to Tbilisi Public Schools N81, N23 and Martkopi N2 Public School in Gardabani, where refugee and asylum-seeking children learn Georgian.
