By the decision of the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini, dormitory of Kachreti Vocational Education and Training Center will be fully rehabilitated by the next academic year. Around 300 students will have opportunity to live in the environment that will be in compliance with international standards.

Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini visited Georgian State Agrarian University. Entrants were passing general ability tests there. On July 5-6, at 09:00 a.m. the first session of the second exam began in 14 examination centers of 14 examination cities.

Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini visited Georgian State Agrarian University and attended entrants’ registration process. Registration began in time. Entrants’ distribution in the exam sectors was organized properly as well.

All entrants pass 4 exams in order to continue studying at academic higher educational programs;
State grants for 2010 academic higher educational programs  will be allocated according to the results of general ability tests as well as 4 exams (1,5 is the value of general ability test);

Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini attended the gala concert of the festival of Georgian song that was held in memory of Gogi Dolidze. Song festival was held for the fourth time by the initiative of the principal of Tbilisi Public School №24, Gia Murghulia. It was held among the school children of 10-17 ages.

Another round of discussions of School Principals’ Professional Code of Ethics was held at MES. This time, Director of Teacher Professional Development Center, Gia Mamulashvili, around 50 principals and teachers of different regions of Georgia as well as representatives of NGOs and Public Board participated in the event.
