Compulsory systematic testing of teachers and administrative staff continues at public and private schools in Tbilisi and the regions, based on the protocol jointly developed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the Ministry of Health of Georgia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to expand the existing cooperation.

Cooperation in the field of education between Georgia and Hungary is expanding twofold. Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, and Peter Siarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, signed two memoranda of understanding in the field of education. The cooperation aims to promote the internationalization of higher education and enhance the existing cooperation in the fields of education, science and technology.

To popularize science, state grant competitions were announced at the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. The main task of these competitions is to raise public awareness about the role of science, its goals and importance, which essentially is one of the priorities of the Foundation.
