The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli took part in the jubilee event of Center for Law and Economics. September 15, marks the beginning of the new academic year of 2020-2021 at public and private schools of Georgia. To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, owing to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, headed by the Prime Minister, the remote educational process at schools and higher educational institutions in some cities and villages of Georgia already resumed on September 15, whereas from October 1, classes will continue across the country.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, according to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council headed by the Prime Minister, the remote educational process will resume from September 15 in the following cities: Tbilisi, Gori, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi and Poti. This regulation is already in force in Kobuleti and Batumi.
