Intensive disinfection works are being carried out for prevention and spread of coronavirus in Georgian general and higher education institutions and vocational colleges.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport addressed the educational, cultural and sport organizations within its system with various recommendations on the subject. Disinfection works have already been carried out in 1429 public schools throughout Georgia. Work began on March 4 and will continue until March 16.
In order to make this decision mandatory for private schools, vocational and higher education institutions, the Government of Georgia issued an order to cease all public or private education institutions until March 16. The educational institutions carry out disinfection activities in accordance with the protocol prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
