In order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, during the period of national emergency, as dictated by the Prime Minister-led Interagency Coordination Council, and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the personnel of National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation will actively participate in Citizen’s Housing Assistance Program.

Five cars, belonging to the agency and their respective drivers, will be coordinated by Tbilisi City Hall and Georgian Red Cross Society.

Following a proper staff training, in conjunction with undergoing an appropriate medical safety and behavior norms, agency drivers together with other volunteers, will provide various groceries and necessary medication to senior citizens living in their homes. During the declared state of emergency, inspections and monitoring of cultural heritage sites will be carried out by other agency employees.
