The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is initiating the process of registration for all teachers and interested individuals. Those wishing to take the subject examination, as well as the professional competence test, will need to register electronically starting from March 30th at 10:00 am on the following web site: online.naec.ge. Please note the registration process will continue until April 30th by 6:00 pm.
During the pre-test period, the National Assessment and Examination Center will also offer applicants an online consultation. Every Thursday, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the Center's official Facebook page will be able to answer all incoming questions and enquiries. The consultation will cover both the registration process and examination procedures alike.
The following are eligible to participate in testing:
- A practitioner teacher assigned to a teacher professional development and career advancement scheme;
- An individual holding a Bachelor, Master and / or equivalent academic degree. Eligibility extends to individuals who undergo undergraduate / postgraduate program mentioned above; or has a military / sport professional education;
- Teachers, who based on their diploma have the right to teach or are currently studying for the concluding year of the educational program.
If an individual does not possess any of the above qualifications, they will not be able to use the test result obtained. The teacher applicant will only be able to pass the subject-related exam only.
Any subsequent confirmation of subject and professional competence by a practicing teacher shall cancel the assessment and credentials received by the practicing teacher when confirming subject and professional competence in the same subject.
