Recommendations for students and parents to effectively engage with Teleskola lessons
“Stay Home” - In light of this key message, we face a
significant challenge in how to make our home time more structured and as
productive and effective as possible.
Make Teleskola an important part of your daily life.
Students are given a unique opportunity to learn more in
a new and varied format and spend a significant chunk of their day immersed.
- Read the timetable carefully, so you don't miss any interesting
lessons.
- Prepare the resources you might need in advance, such as: a sheet,
a notebook, pen, pencils, eraser, ruler, scissors, etc. Please note, that you
may need to jot down a specific information, copy the table, or write down the
homework.
- You may find some of the new topics less comprehensive, or
you may have additional questions to clarify a specific information. If so,
please do write down the questions and search for some answers in the textbook.
Ask for advice, consult with the adults. It is also important to have an active
and daily communication with your subject teachers.
- Try to do homework (if applicable) to enhance and test your knowledge
gained during the telecast. If needed, do not hesitate to ask for help from
your family members.
- Please avoid missing the lessons. According to the nature of
Teleskola, the next lesson may be a direct continuation of a previous one.
- Share your impressions and emotions with your family members,
classmates, friends, or teachers (with the help of various means of communication).
- Get acquainted with the topic of your next lesson to create
mood, expectations and predictions.
- Dear parents, you are advised to create a comfortable and
calm environment for your children so they can better focus on the lesson. Speak
with them, understand their reactions, first impressions and emotions. This is
crucial for their emotional well-being and for understanding the knowledge
gained during the TV lessons.
