Owing to the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the deadline for receiving applications for the Culture Promotion Program was set to 18:00, June 1, 2020. The decision was based on the ongoing situation in the country, in conjunction with taking the interest of beneficiaries into account. Moreover, the project submission date within the scope of the project, was established for July 15, 2020.
Individuals who have already submitted a bidding application are given the opportunity to submit a new bidding application or an updated one in the appropriate form by June 1, 2020.

During the bid evaluation, the specially appointed commission will be guided by the epidemiological situation in the country, as well as the recommendations provided by the World Health Organization, the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories of Georgia, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
The Commission will give preference to projects that respond to the pandemic in Georgia and the world situation in general and the established limitations and provide innovative approaches (including the ability to implement individual projects remotely, the use of digital technologies, and etc.).
