During the presentation, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli emphasized the innovations developed by the Ministry, with regards to successful students in Georgia.
If the defined annual score is not satisfactory for the student, and they desire to increase it in any given subject, they will have a unique opportunity to address the school administration in any form (application, e-mail, telephone).
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: "Please note that, the evaluation system is developed by the world's leading countries. The system proves to be a recognized model and is remarkable from a pedagogical point of view."
The deadlines vary for students of different grades.
Students of XII grade who are not satisfied with the defined annual score and students in IX grade, who have decided to leave the system after receiving a compulsory general education have the opportunity to apply to raise their score from May 21 to May 29.
Subsequently, the school administration will provide a complex assignment until June 19, which will be used to evaluate the final annual score. Please note, the school administration is obliged to inform the students in advance about the complex assignment, in conjunction with giving consultations as needed.
As for the rest of the students who do not meet the set annual score and want to increase the annual score, they can address the school administration from June 16 to June 30.
The students will also be given the opportunity to correct their score in the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
