The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulates the next generation on behalf of the Ministry on the International Children's Day.

"Country’s future depends on the circumstances that is given to the new generation” – the famous words of Ilia Chavchavadze clearly displays the guiding principle for any government, for every member of our public. It is our main duty to take care of all children living in Georgia, so they can grow up in a safe and peaceful environment and have full conditions to access quality education.

We celebrate this year's International Children's Day under special circumstances. Faced with an unprecedented challenges, every employee of the Ministry, educator, and teacher in our country, has chosen to give their maximum, to help alleviate the difficulties facing our children. They have chosen to take care of future generations by providing alternative ways of receiving education.

We will continue to do our best to eliminate violence against children and amongst children, to promote a healthy lifestyle, to create all the conditions for self-realization so that the new generation of Georgians can fulfill their dreams” - stated Mikheil Chkhenkeli in his congratulatory message.
