On June 23-25 the seminars on “ECTS and Diploma Supplement” were held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The seminars were delivered by Professor Jean –Luc Lambloy, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography, History, History of art and Tourism of the University of Lyon, and professor Christopher Moss, the head of the European Office at the Philipp’s – University Malburg. Experts from France and Germany shared their French and respectively German experiences on the topic.
On June 25th the Regional Academic Summit was held on the same topic. The summit was opened by the Rector of the Batumi State University Professor Aliosha Bakuridze. The opening speeches were followed by the presentations of the seminar participants.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is the first public body in Georgia where the Twinning project is implemented. This Twinning project is implemented in the framework of ENPI and aims to introduce European Standards in the Higher Education System of Georgia. The project is implemented together with Germany and France.
