The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has been actively working with the National Center for Assessment and Examinations and other relevant agencies since the first day of the announcement of the Coronavirus pandemic to fully guide the 2020 exam process. A special organizing committee was set up, comprising of: the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Justice; JSC "Telasi" and JSC "Energo-Pro Georgia". The agencies work within the scope of their competence on various issues related to the examination process.
According to the recommendations of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, examiners and supervisors will be admitted to only 50% of the room capacity. No more than 10 examinations will be allowed in each sector of the examination centers this year. In case the rules are violated, the entrant will receive a warning. If the violation persists, the person will be removed from the examination.
Due to security measures, the examination areas will be cooled with air conditioning only before the session and will be switched off before entering the exam hall. During the period between the sessions, special disinfection works will be carried out on the spot.
