The campaign "Vocational Education for Businesses after Covid-19" with the private sector continues. The Deputy Minister of Education, Tamar Kitiashvili, held an online meeting with the President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Giorgi Pertaia, and with representatives of other interested stakeholders.
The Coronavirus pandemic has created an unprecedented need for new skills in the labor market that will enable businesses to operate smoothly in the future. The essence of these meetings is to discuss the new needs of businesses in terms of human resources, their relevant skills, and measures to be taken by the Ministry.
The Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has a history of tight partnership with the Ministry of Education. The member companies of the Chamber of Commerce are involved in the development and implementation of various training and retraining programs. The Chamber, in turn, encourages the implementation and promotion of dual education.
The dialogue with the private sector will continue.
