A webinar was held on June 25, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the State Educational University of Physical Education and Sports, La Liga Business School, discussing Georgian Sport through and after Covid-19.
Representatives of the Ministry, the Parliament, the Olympic Committee and the Sports University, as well as the mentioned sports organizations took part in the webinar. Shalva Gogoladze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport spoke about the current challenges, in conjunction with Jose Moia Gomez, the director of La Liga Business School, Elguja Berishvili, First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, and Jemal Dzagania, Rector of the State Training University of Physical Education and Sports. During the online discussion, the participants reviewed the current situation caused by the crisis. Additionally, the speakers focused on the steps taken by the state to help alleviate the problem, as well as mentioning specific solutions to the main issues.
La Liga Business School of the Spanish Football Championship is an educational department that works in the field of sports management and marketing and implements various master's programs and courses in the field of sports. La Liga Business School actively cooperates with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the State Training University of Physical Education and Sports. Owing to the initiative of the school, for the first time in Georgia since January 2020, a 3-week sports marketing course was held.
