Ekaterine Dgebuadze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia held a working meeting with the representatives of resource centers and school principals regarding the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year.
Ekaterine Dgebuadze noted that the Ministry, together with specialists and epidemiologists working in the field of public health, is actively working on safety rules and recommendations for schools, during the development of which, it is vitally important to involve schools as much as possible to ensure the safety of the students.
According to Ekaterine Dgebuadze, the document on safety and health care and regulation of the educational process, which is being drafted with an active participation of school principals, resource center managers and education experts, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, addresses all the needs of public institutions.
The meeting was held in a question-and-answer mode and the parties were given the opportunity to talk about specific challenges, problems, and ways to solve them in the field of general education.
As the start of the new school year approaches, the Ministry will continue the cooperation between the parties.
