A working meeting of the Alumni Association Advisory Board of the International Center for Education was held at the Government Administration. The main purpose of the meeting was to summarize the activities carried out by the Association in recent years and determine future plans.
Besides the alumni, the meeting was also attended by: Chairman of the Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Maia Tskitishvili; Council members: Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Defense Irakli Gharibashvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, Executive Director of the International Center for Education, Nino Chelidze, Director of Global Benefit Georgia, Nina Kobakhidze Gepra Consulting Partner, Soso Galumashvili.
During the meeting, the members of the Advisory Board discussed the issues of expanding the institutional network, outlining the main directions of the small grant program, increasing the access to information about the Association's activities and developing an active communication strategy.
The International Alumni Association Alumni Association was established in 2018. In the same year, the Association's Advisory Council was established, with members from the governmental and non-governmental sectors.
The goals of the association are to create and strengthen a network of graduates, promote professional development of the members, provide development-oriented research and consultation, and create public good by using knowledge and experience gained abroad.
