Nunu Mitskevichi, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia together with Sopho Gorgodze, Director of the National Assessment and Examinations Center (NAEC), visited the Examination Center located on the premises of Tbilisi Public School №103.
The Deputy Minister got acquainted with the preparatory works for the exams and evaluated the measures taken to ensure the safety of the exam participants. Cameras have already been installed in the examination halls and the rooms are equipped with appropriate furniture and other necessary equipment, including a thermosetting device and protective barriers.
Nunu Mitskevichi noted that all appropriate suggestions for the prevention of coronavirus will be considered in the examination centers of Georgia, and the Ministry will create all the conditions for applicants to enroll in the quiet, comfortable, and safe environment for their respective exams. The Deputy Minister encouraged the participants of the examination to carefully study the rules of safe conduct.
In accordance with the safety rules, Nunu Mitskevichi appealed to parents to avoid crowds, not to wait for the examiners in front of the examination centers.
24 examination centers will be opened throughout Georgia, which will be equipped in accordance with the recommendations of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. The preparation process in the examination centers is underway and is nearing completion.
Please note, that the Unified National Examinations for 2020 will start on July 6 and end on July 25. The grant competition will be held on July 25, whereas the master's common entrance exams will be held from August 1 to August 4.
