On the first day of the national exams, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli visited Tbilisi Examination Centers and wished success to the entrants.
The entrants will take the first exam in Georgian language and literature today.
According to the recommendations of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, as well as the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC), special rules apply to the 24 examination centers opened across the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In addition to allowing admissions and supervisors only 50% of maximum capacity, each desk is equipped with a transparent protective shield / barrier on the front, and the distance between the tables is at least two meters long.

It is necessary to maintain: physical distance; practice hand hygiene, wear facemasks whenever mandatory, the airflow from air conditioners must not be directed at people, the window must be open at all times, as the risk of transmission of the infection is high in an enclosed area, air re-circulation is prohibited.
It should be noted that all the rules related to health safety during the examination process remain in force.
The Unified National Examinations of 2020 will start on July 6 and end on July 25. The grant competition will be held on July 25, and the master’s exams will be held from August 1 to August 4. The exam process for practicing teachers will start on July 22 and end on July 30.
