To increase the access to vocational education, a brand-new vocational college will be opened in Tskaltubo Municipality. Construction of the college is at an early stage currently. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, together with Ivreti Representative, Zviad Shalamberidze, got acquainted with the construction works.
The infrastructure is in full compliance with modern standards, while fully taking into account the needs for the individuals with disabilities.
The facility will be equipped with the latest technologies, central heating, and a cooling system. Additionally, the college will feature study rooms, a conference hall, a library, a sports field, and a yard.
The college will start functioning in 2021 and, depending on the needs of Tskaltubo Municipality, will offer programs mainly in the fields of tourism, engineering, technologies, and agriculture.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the active involvement of the local self-government.
