Construction of a modern public school in the village of Patara Mejvriskhevi, Gori Municipality, is being completed. Ekaterine Dgebuadze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia got acquainted with the current construction works together with the representatives of the local self-government.
The new school in the village of Patara Mejvriskhevi, located near the occupation line, is designed for 150 students and meets all modern European standards. The Municipal Development Fund has allocated up to GEL 2,400,000 for this specific project.
Moreover, the school is fully adapted for students with special educational needs. The building will also be equipped with a computer classroom, laboratory, and a library.
Arranging modern educational infrastructure is one of the main priorities of the government. Consequently, infrastructure projects are being implemented throughout Georgia.
