Statement of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli:

"I am pleased to inform the public that the unified national, master's and teaching exams have been successfully completed. These examinations were organized at the highest level, in strict compliance with the medical protocol. Our ministry has done its best to conduct the exams in a perfect academic and safe environment.

Additionally, as you may know, we have conducted an unprecedented occurrence. Since one of the entrants was infected with COVID-19, we decided to conduct the entrance exam at one of the hospitals.

I would like to thank all the individuals involved, all the agencies that were engaged in organizing the exams. As you know, the publication of the results has already started, and I once again want to take this  opportunity and wish all the entrants a favorable outcome and future success.

Furthermore, due to the current epidemic situation, the learning process at schools, will start on September 15, as usual. The academic year in universities will also resume uninterrupted.”
