Unified vocational testing is now complete. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with Sopho Gorgodze, Director of the National Assessment and Examination Center attended the testing at the examination center location on the premises of College Information Technology Academy.
Registration for vocational education programs began on May 20 and lasted until August 10. More than 14,400 applicants have registered for the Fall 2020 admission. More than 12,000 of individuals were tested, while the rest participated in a college/university internal selection process. Internal selections were made for vocational programs where the number of registrants did not exceed the number of vacancies.
On September 5 through September 6, 59 examination centers were opened in all regions of Georgia. All examination centers were in full compliance with the recommendations developed by the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
