The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil, Chkhenkeli held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev and discussed issues of deepening cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture, and sports.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli positively assessed the joint projects implemented by Georgia and Azerbaijan. According to him, it is important to enhance the existing cooperation in the field of higher education and implement joint scientific-research projects. The Minister also spoke about the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of culture and sports.

For his part, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Faig Guliyev expressed readiness to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
