During the pandemic, for the first time throughout the country, studies were resumed in classrooms. The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli personally congratulated the students, teachers, school administration and parents on the resumption of studies and wished them academic success.

On the first day of school, Mikheil Chkhenkeli visited Tbilisi's largest mega-school N186 and QSI - Tbilisi International School, where he personally got acquainted with how educational institutions were prepared to start the process, how students are protected from risks and what work has been done both in terms of safety and quality.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “Today the educational process in Tbilisi, Rustavi and Kutaisi schools resumed in classrooms, where our school students naturally belong. Consequently, the educational process in schools across the country has already returned to the natural environment.

However, despite the normality, it is crucial to maintain the existing good dynamics. Therefore, I would like to ask the society once again to strictly follow the recommendations provided by the healthcare experts, so that our children, can continue their education in classrooms with their peers."

Tbilisi N186 Public Mega-School was built within the framework of the multifunctional educational complex - Education and Science City project and it is designed for 1,300 students and is fully in line with the modern standards. The school currently has 848 elementary students in Block A. Whereas Block B, comprises of middle and elementary students. The configuration and arrangement of the blocks connected by the galleries creates three inner courtyards, where recreation zones were arranged. The school has a library, science laboratories, conference halls, a canteen, a doctor's office, three separate gyms, and outdoor playgrounds. Ecologically clean building materials are used in the construction process.

QSI - Tbilisi International School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA). Tuition at the school is entirely in English. Students continue their studies at leading universities in Europe and North America upon graduation.
