Ekaterine Dgebuadze, First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with Gela Geladze, Head of the Resource Officer Service of the educational institution visited №10, № 22, №116 and №166 public schools of Didube district and got acquainted with the current educational process.
Ekaterine Dgebuadze congratulated the students and teachers on their return to schools and wished them success in the natural, school environment. The First Deputy Minister thanked the school administration for adapting to the new reality in light of the pandemic in the shortest possible time and noted that the Georgian general education institutions had coped with the challenges and obstacles with great success.
Ekaterine Dgebuadze once again called on schools to adhere to safety norms and noted that to maintain a stable learning environment and continue the teaching process in general education institutions, it is necessary for each member of the school community to show civic responsibility and strictly follow the recommendations issued by the Ministry and the healthcare experts.
Regarding the return of students to classrooms across the country, the First Deputy Minister is systematically briefed on the ongoing teaching process in schools and personally assesses what measures have been taken to ensure a safe learning environment in general education institutions.
