Head of the Department of Internal Audit of the Ministry of Education and Science, Irakli Andriashvili made an announcement on the fact of stealing 39 unique books of the 18^th and the 19^th centuries from the library of Tbilisi State University.

By the announcement of the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini , the Department of Internal Audit investigated the violations in the library of Tbilisi State University. The facts of violation of the criminal law were discovered – 39 unique historical books of the 18^th and the 19 the centuries are stolen. The cost of these books amounts to thousands Euro.

According to Irakli Andriashvili, MES will not allow anyone to arrogate the treasury of the state and use the education resources for the personal benefits by different financial intrigues.
