The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia started accepting applications to consider the issue of recognizing various sports organizations. Applications will be reviewed by an advisory body to the Ministry - the "Recognition and Funding Council for Sports Organizations". The deadline for applications is April 1, 2021.

In order to discuss the issue of recognition, an application must be submitted by sports organizations with the following appendix:

1. Extract of registration from the public register;
2. The charter of the organization;
3. Certificate of membership in the relevant international organization;
4. Organization development strategy and action plan;
5. Activity report in accordance with Annex # 1 (since the establishment of the organization to date);
6. Number of athletes, coaches and referees in accordance with Annex # 2 (if available, depending on the specifics of the organization).

The issue of recognition of a sports organization will be considered only if the organization was established at least 6 months before the submission of the application and its legal form is a non-profit (non-commercial) legal entity
