The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia continues to monitor schools. First Deputy Minister, Ekaterine Dgebuadze visited the public schools of Old Tbilisi this time and got personally acquainted with the measures taken to ensure a safe environment. Gela Geladze, Head of the Resource Officer Service of the educational institution, and Davit Partsvania, Head of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, visited the schools together with the First Deputy Minister.
As Ekaterine Dgebuadze noted, the educational process in schools is carried out in the usual format, in full compliance with the sanitary-hygienic norms and the recommendations of the Ministry. According to the Deputy Minister, in order for students to continue their education in a natural environment - in classrooms, it is important to maintain a safe educational environment and positive dynamics. For this purpose, the Ministry systematically carries out the process of monitoring schools, as well as systematic testing of teachers.
According to Ekaterine Dgebuadze, resource officers of the educational institution, in addition to protecting the safety of students, help schools to comply with the relevant recommendations. Moreover, the Agency for Educational Infrastructure has provided public schools with the necessary hygiene facilities throughout the country, as well as improved school infrastructure and fully renovated the toilet facilities.
Schools are monitored intensively by local educational resource centers, as well as staff of the Ministry's Preschool, General Education and Administration Department, based on a specially designed pandemic form.
