Ekaterine Dgebuadze, First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with Davit Nozadze, State Representative of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region and Gela Geladze, Head of the Resource Officer Service of the educational institution, visited public schools of Mtskheta Municipality and inspected the sanitary norms in place.
As Ekaterine Dgebuadze noted, despite the high attendance of students in Mtskheta public schools, the detection rate of coronavirus cases is quite low. It is absolutely crucial that general education institutions strictly follow the recommendations of the Ministry.
As part of the monitoring, several schools received additional recommendations from the Ministry to ensure a safe environment.
To maintain the current dynamics, a full-scale testing for teachers and school personnel in educational institutions, is carried out systematically throughout the country.
