Since March 12, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has launched a new project to inform the parents of students with disabilities and special educational needs. Within the scope of the program a series of direct engagements will be launched on the "Parent Box" portal.
Online tips will be shared with the public along with the personnel of the Inclusive Education Division of the Ministry, as well as members of the multidisciplinary team, providing valuable information about the ongoing and planned activities in the field of inclusive education. All communication will be adapted to sign language. Public discussions address important issues such as the regulation of inclusive education at schools, the performance of resource rooms, integrated classrooms, the transition from kindergarten to school, parental involvement in school life, considering the needs of individuals in lesson planning and much more.
It is important that during the engagement, the viewer will have the opportunity to openly ask questions to the invited guest and get comprehensive answers.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia in partnership with Mac Georgia.
