Compulsory systematic testing of teachers and administrative staff continues at public and private schools in Tbilisi and the regions, based on the protocol jointly developed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the Ministry of Health of Georgia.
As part of the mandatory testing, the Centre for Infectious Diseases personnel visited Tbilisi Public School No. 150 for the third time and conducted a full test for teachers and the administrative staff.
Of the three tests conducted so far at Public School No. 150, no cases of the virus have been detected, meaning that more than 900 students returning from the spring break on March 15 will begin their education in a safe environment.
To continue the testing process, the staff of the Centre for Infectious Diseases will visit the 150th public school exactly two weeks later - on March 26 and conduct the test once again for the teachers and technical staff alike.
Across the country, the state fully ensures the testing of public and private school teachers and administrative staff.
