A memorandum was signed to bring vocational education closer to European standards

As part of the Vocational Education Reform, a tripartite memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Association of Human Resource Management Professionals, and the Centre for Institutional and Capacity Development (ICDC).

With the joint efforts and support of the parties, the Memorandum will contribute to the development of the vocational education system and its approximation to European standards, as well as to the implementation of joint research and projects and to raise awareness of vocational education in public.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to develop the quality of vocational education and support research-based solutions, to promote internationalization and international cooperation in the field of vocational education between the private and public sectors.

To achieve these goals, a platform will be created - TVET HOME, which will promote public-private dialogue and share successful experiences, employment of vocational students, self-employment, professional or personal development. Promotion of vocational education and specific vocations/professions, as well as professional orientation and career planning.
