Owing to the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, a new workshop is being built in the village of Alvani, located in Akhmeta Municipality. The construction is in its active phase and will be completed in the coming future.
Specialists of one of the most demanded vocations in Akhmeta Municipality - Ceramists - will be trained in a workshop equipped in line with international standards and regulations. The workshop will enable the college to increase the number of students admitted to the program. The promotion of this particular program is especially important, as it promotes the development of cross-industry corelation and increases the employment rate of the population of the municipality.
During the working visit to Kakheti region, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Tamar Kitiashvili got acquainted with the construction process of the workshop and inspected the works of future ceramics.
