First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Akaki Seperteladze and Director of Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency, Irakli Todua got familiarized with the construction works at the First Experimental School.
Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency launched the construction and rehabilitative works at 317 schools throughout the whole Georgia in the scope of the President’s National Mega-program “Iakob Gogebashvili – Rehabilitation of Public Schools”.
Constructing of the new building is underway at the First Experimental School. Primary classes will be located in this building. The one-floor building will serve 180 schoolchildren. The roof will be covered with the green cover of trees, flowers and grass.
Ongoing construction works will be finished on September 15. The schoolchildren of primary classes will begin the new academic year in the new building. Rehabilitation of the small gym of the school is planned as well.
108 schools will be renovated in the framework of the President’s National Mega-program “Iakob Gogebashvili – Rehabilitation of Public Schools”. Stadiums have been already renewed at 24 schools. Renovation of 67 gyms is underway. 5 of them are already finished.
