Owing to the decision of the Government of Georgia, on March 19, 2021, an amendment to the Law of Georgia on the Structure, Authority and Rules of Operation of the Government of Georgia entered into force. Based on the amendment, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia was divided and formed into two ministries: the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
